Assistant Supervisor, Operations

Location: Pasir Gudang, Johor
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate bulk import and export shipment activities to ensure timely and cost-effective operations.
• Arrange vessel, pipeline, and cargo movement schedules to support smooth shipment execution.
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation, customs declarations, health certificates, surveyor reports, and operational records.
• Liaise with surveyors, customers, customs authorities, transporters, and internal departments to ensure seamless operations and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor shipment progress, resolve operational issues, and support cargo consolidation activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company operational requirements.

Requirements

• STPM, Diploma, or Degree in Shipping, Maritime, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Preferably 1 to 2 years of experience in vessel planning, shipping operations, survey coordination, logistics, customer service, or related functions.
• Knowledge of shipment documentation, customs reporting, and operational coordination is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Willing to work on a shift schedule.
• Experience in palm oil industry shipment operations will be an added advantage.

• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Basic understanding of logistics, maritime, and bulk shipment operations.

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
