Network Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with hands-on experience in enterprise networking. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, operation, and support of network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and datacenter network infrastructure

· Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network devices including routers, switches, wireless controllers, and load balancers

· Monitor network performance, availability, and security; proactively identify and resolve issues

· Perform network troubleshooting and root cause analysis for incidents and service degradation

· Implement and support routing and switching protocols (e.g. OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP)

· Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and change management activities

· Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures

· Work closely with vendors, service providers, and internal teams to resolve network-related issues

· Provide on-call or after-hours support when required

Required Skills & Experience

· Minimum 3 years of experiences in network engineering or network operations

· Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, DNS, DHCP, and network troubleshooting concepts

· Hands-on experience with enterprise networking equipment (e.g. Cisco switches, Cisco ACI, Fortinet switches, Aruba controllers and access points, A10 load balancers, or equivalent)

· Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g. NMS, packet capture tools, SNMP)

· Experience following ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processes

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

· Good documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

· Experience with wireless networks and controllers

· Exposure to cloud networking (AWS, etc), PCIDSS framework

· Knowledge of load balancers, SD-WAN, IPVPN

· Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Aruba ACMP/ACSP, or equivalent

Education

· Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
