Education and Experience:
- A Minimum Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or other related discipline required
- At least 1 year of working experience in construction, site supervision or HVAC engineering experience is an advantage
- Good Knowledge in HVAC design, psychrometric chart, thermodynamics is an advantage
- Able to execute well in ACAD, Excel, Word and Power Point
- Able to execute Microsoft Project is an advantage
Job Description:
- Assists to prepare project proposals, plans and conferring with management.
- Liaise with Customer to prepare, execute and fulfil project deliverables and schedules.
- Understands project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
- Understands project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements, and reviewing quotations from sub-contractors.
- Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
- Interprets Customer’s requirements, respond promptly and keep superiors informed with the latest expectation or request.
- Updates project plan by if there’re any approved changes in design, specifications, plan and schedule.
- Coordinate day-to-day work activities, procurement, material flow and operations with all project related personnel to ensure successful project execution.
- Attention to details such as plans, drawings, quantity and work quality to ensure projects meet agreed specifications and budget. Highlight discrepancies to superior whenever necessary.
- Ensure the compliance of all site works with contract specifications, ISO 9001 Quality Management System, company internal quality standards and local construction regulations.
- Provide appropriate technical advice to Customers, subcontractors and project coordinator.
- Update Customers and their representatives (e.g. architects, engineers and surveyors) the project progress. Attend meetings when necessary.
- Liaise with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws.
- Manage subcontractors by communicating, following up, and supervising their quality of work and tasks.
- Ensures labour, items, tools and equipment ordered and received are according to plan.
- Ensures established standards are delivered in project execution.
