Responsibilities

• Source and manage quotations for new and existing materials, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with business requirements.
• Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates on requested materials / components for projects.
• Source and develop new potential suppliers at competitive prices, lead times, and quality standards.
• Evaluate suppliers’ scale, technical specifications, capabilities, and capacity to meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
• Executing regular cost reduction initiatives with suppliers.
• To identify and introduce alternative materials with more competitive costs and no supply constraints.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure supply continuity, cost optimization, and risk mitigation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of purchasing / sourcing experience in manufacturing environment.
• Resourceful, possess strong negotiation and cost analysis skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in MS Excel and data analysis.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
