Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality assurance policies, procedures, and systems across manufacturing and logistics operations.
• Lead and oversee a team of quality assurance personnel, providing coaching, training, and performance management.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company specifications.
• Investigate and analyze quality issues, non-conformances, and deviations, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitor key quality metrics and performance indicators, preparing detailed reports for senior management.
• Liaise with production, transport, and logistics teams to identify improvement opportunities and optimize quality processes.
• Manage supplier quality assessments and maintain vendor performance standards.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and prepare documentation for external audits and certifications.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead quality management system enhancements.
• Manage quality control budgets and resources effectively.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control management, preferably within manufacturing sectors.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or equivalent standards.
• Proven experience in leading and managing QA teams.
• Excellent understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Proficiency with quality management software and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry compliance requirements.
• Certification in Quality Management (CQE, Six Sigma, or similar) is preferred.
• Experience in implementing quality improvement projects such as Lean or Six Sigma is advantageous.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
