Advanced Eye Clinic & Surgery is a multisubspecialty ophthalmic practice with two branches at Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre. Our senior ophthalmologists specialize in cataract and refractive surgery, medical and surgical retina, and general ophthalmology.

Job Summary

We are seeking an optometrist to perform comprehensive eye care and clinical support in a specialty ophthalmic setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform refractions to determine patients’ visual prescriptions accurately
• Conduct patient evaluations using basic investigations including autorefractometry, airpuff tonometry, visual field testing, and biometry to assess eye health
• Learn and apply advanced diagnostic techniques such as OCT, wide field photography, and angiography for detailed ocular assessment
• Implement myopia control strategies to manage and slow progression in patients
• Assess patients for suitability for refractive surgery and provide detailed preoperative evaluations
• Counsel patients on eye conditions, treatment options, and postoperative care to support informed decisions
• Manage clinical administrative tasks including patient registration, appointment scheduling, and payment collection to ensure smooth clinic operations
• Coordinate scheduling for surgeries and other ophthalmic procedures to optimize patient flow
• Process insurance claims and handle related documentation to facilitate patient billing and reimbursements
