About Us

UrmiX is a consumer product company that designs, develops, manufactures, and sells innovative physical products across multiple categories.

We develop products from idea through engineering, sourcing, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, marketing, and marketplace launch.

We are looking for someone who can help us build and run this entire execution system.

About the Role

This is not a traditional project manager position.

We are looking for someone who enjoys building systems, coordinating people, solving problems, removing bottlenecks, and making sure products move from concept to market.

You will work directly with the CEO and coordinate engineering, suppliers, factories, marketing, and operations across multiple consumer product projects.

Your mission is simple:

Keep projects moving and help turn ideas into successful products.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple product development projects simultaneously.
• Track each project from concept through launch.
• Work closely with engineers, industrial designers, suppliers, factories, and marketing.
• Keep projects organized, on schedule, and moving forward.
• Follow up with team members and suppliers to ensure commitments are completed.
• Identify blockers early and escalate important decisions.
• Prepare weekly project status reports for the CEO.
• Maintain project documentation, specifications, timelines, and action lists.
• Coordinate prototype reviews, testing, production readiness, and launch preparation.
• Help improve internal processes and build scalable operating systems as the company grows.

• Be comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.

Preferred Experience

Strong preference will be given to candidates with experience in one or more of the following:

• Consumer products
• Product development
• Manufacturing
• Product operations
• Supply chain
• Sourcing
• Product launches
• Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, or e-commerce operations
• Working with overseas suppliers or factories
• Managing engineering or product development teams

Experience with physical consumer products is a major advantage.

This Role Is NOT

• A software project manager
• A Scrum Master
• A basic virtual assistant
• A meeting scheduler
• An executive assistant

We are looking for someone who understands how to move physical products from idea to market.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 6 months you will help:

• Improve execution across 15+ active product projects.
• Reduce project delays and missed follow-ups.
• Build clear product development workflows.
• Improve communication between engineering, suppliers, and marketing.
• Allow the CEO to focus more on product innovation and business growth rather than day-to-day coordination.

Compensation

• Full-time remote position.
• Salary: USD $1,300–$1,500/month, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Long-term opportunity with significant growth potential.
