Responsibilities
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Associate System Support Engineer to join our growing technical team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with 0–2 years of experience who are passionate about IoT, networking, software, and technology.
You will work closely with our engineers to support the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Industrial IoT (IIoT) and Smart Building solutions. On-the-job training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity to build a career in system integration and IoT technologies.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist in the installation, configuration, and commissioning of IoT devices, gateways, sensors, and edge computers.
· Provide first-level technical support for deployed systems and customer enquiries.
· Perform system health checks, troubleshooting, and issue resolution remotely or onsite.
· Assist in software installation, system configuration, and firmware updates.
· Support testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and system validation activities.
· Monitor system performance and prepare basic technical reports and documentation.
· Work with internal engineering teams to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
· Support preventive maintenance and routine servicing of deployed systems.
· Assist in project deployment activities and site coordination when required.
· Maintain accurate records of support activities and service reports.
· Participate in standby or after-office-hours support when required (on a rotational basis).
Requirements
· Diploma or Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related discipline.
· Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
· Candidates with 1–2 years of technical support or system engineering experience will have an advantage.
· Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, Ethernet).
· Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems is preferred.
· Familiarity with IoT technologies, MQTT, serial communication (RS232/RS485), or databases is an advantage but not required.
· Willing to travel to customer sites within Singapore when required.
· Possess a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong problem-solving skills.
· Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
· Basic programming knowledge (Python, C#, JavaScript, or similar).
· Experience with SQL databases.
· Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
· Experience with Node-RED, Docker, or virtualization.
· Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, or LoRaWAN.

Pay: $2,400.00 - $2,800.00 per month
