JOB DESCRIPTION

• Cable termination/Rigging/Equipment Installation/Tech Management – pulling cable to required areas, installing equipment into racks or designated areas, landing cables to equipment, permanently attaching equipment to building structure, managing technician teams doing installation work to ensure schedule is met and work is being performed at the top of their ability.

• Testing/Tuning – test all equipment installed to ensure proper functionality and fix any non- functioning equipment; tune all audio and video equipment and/or prep and test lighting and rigging to maximize functionality and performance.

• Ensure that all safety measures are implemented and strictly followed.

• Site Survey – obtain information about prospective job site such as taking measurements, deciding tools needed, loading area, parking, point of contact, site times, etc.

• Administrative – manage and file all paperwork and computer documents pertaining to the job including emails, job expense receipts and PO’s, delivery acknowledgement forms, system acceptance forms, transmittals, faxes, etc. scheduling of site meetings between contractors when needed as well as client meeting

• Operation Manuals/Close Out Documents - Assist in compiling, and deliver to theclient, an operation manual which explains in detail how to properly operate the installed A/V system and/or lighting and rigging system including pictures when available; closing document signed to system specification and begin system warranty
