Position Summary:

The Business Analyst will play a key role in driving the Company's business transformation projects by identifying opportunities to improve business processes, operational efficiency, digital capabilities, and organisational performance. The role will also work closely with stakeholders across the Company to analyse business needs, recommend innovative solutions, and support the successful implementation of transformation initiatives.

The incumbent will facilitate chartering, operations and support teams by ensuring that business requirements are translated into practical solutions that enhance productivity, optimise workflows, improve decision-making, and deliver sustainable business value.

BusinessAnalysis:

·      Engage stakeholders across the organization tounderstand business objectives, operational challenges, and opportunities forimprovement.

·      Analyse operational and commercial data to identifytrends, generate insights, and support informed decision making.

·      Conduct business process analysis, including processmapping, gap analysis, and root cause analysis, to identify inefficiencies andareas for optimization.

·      Develop business cases, functional requirements, userstories, and process documentation to support business and technologyinitiatives.

·      Recommend practical, scalable, and cost-effective solutions that improve operational efficiency and business performance.

·      Support budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis by providing data-driven insights and performance metrics.

·      Prepare and present management reports and dashboards to monitor key business and operational performance indicator.

Business Transformation and Project Management:

·      Drive business transformation and digitalization projects- Support the planning, execution, and tracking of business transformation projects.

·      Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and escalate them when required

·      Identify opportunities to improve business processes through process improvements, automation, and AI solutions.

·      Support the implementation of new systems, processes, and business improvement initiatives like user training and post-implementation activities to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.

·      Assist with change management activities, including stakeholder communication, user training, and adoption of new processes.

Qualifications:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Maritime Studies, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline

·      3 - 5 years of relevant experience

·      Shipping/Maritime Industry experience preferred
