Role Summary
As a Finance Manager, you will play a key role in managing XG Tech's finance operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective financial governance across the organization. You will oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, tax compliance, audits, and month-end closing while partnering closely with business stakeholders and the Finance team to support strategic decision-making. In addition, you will drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and contribute to finance digitalization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and support XG Tech's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the financial operations of XG Tech, including but not limited to daily accounting, financial document approval, and monthly closing activities. Ensure financial data is accurate, complete, and compliant with the company's financial policies.
- Prepare monthly management reports and statutory financial statements, perform financial analysis, and support the company's consolidated management reporting and analysis.
- Support audit activities, transaction due diligence, and statutory audits by providing the required financial data and supporting documentation.
- Assist with tax filings and other compliance-related matters, liaise with external tax advisors, and ensure compliance with local tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.
- Support the continuous improvement of financial accounting processes and internal control frameworks.
- Participate in the company's finance automation initiatives to enhance overall financial management efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with the finance team to complete ad hoc assignments and other duties as required.
How will you stand out
- Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant finance experience, with comprehensive financial knowledge and experience in international financial management.
- Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and a basic understanding of Singapore's tax regulations.
- Proficient in SAP, Oracle, or other financial systems. Experience with ERP systems will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent logical thinking and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across functions.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently under pressure while demonstrating strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
