Job Description

Responsibilities

Role Overview

As a Logistics Intern, you will gain direct operational experience in medical device supply chain management, warehouse operations, inventory control, and order fulfillment. Working alongside our supply chain team, you will ensure that life-enhancing health equipment moves safely, accurately, and on schedule from our warehouse to healthcare partners and retail customers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory & Warehouse Management

  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels, conducting regular stock counts, and reconciling physical inventory with system records.

  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and lot/serial number tracking for medical devices in compliance with quality storage standards.

  • Monitor product shelf-life and expiration dates (especially for CGMS sensors and test reagents).

2. Order Fulfillment & Distribution

  • Pick, pack, and label daily B2C e-commerce orders and B2B clinic/wholesale shipments.

  • Coordinate local deliveries with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, courier services, and internal dispatchers.

  • Track outbound shipments and proactively resolve transit delays or delivery exceptions.

3. Inbound Shipments & Receiving

  • Inspect incoming stock shipments for quantity accuracy and physical damage.

  • Prepare Goods Received Notes (GRN) and file shipping documentation (bills of lading, packing lists, import declarations).

4. Process Improvement & Reporting

  • Help track key supply chain metrics such as delivery lead times, order accuracy rates, and stock turnover.

  • Identify operational bottlenecks and suggest practical workflow improvements for picking, packing, or stock organization.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Business Operations, or a related discipline.

  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional organizational skills and accuracy when handling product SKUs, serial numbers, and shipping documents.

  • Problem Solver: Proactive attitude with a willingness to get hands-on in warehouse and fulfillment activities.

  • Tech Savviness: Proficient in MS Excel (Data filtering, VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables) and quick to adapt to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP tools.

  • Physical Ability: Comfortable handling light-to-medium physical tasks involved in stock inspections and packing.
