About the role

Ming Hing Tai Construction Ltd is seeking an Assistant Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is a full-time position based in Tsing Yi, Kwai Tsing District. As an Assistant Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our construction projects, working alongside experienced engineers and project teams. You will contribute to the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering tasks that are fundamental to our company's success in delivering high-quality construction solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design, planning and coordination of engineering projects in Tsing Yi Terminal of Fuel Suppliers

• Support engineers in conducting site inspections, surveys and technical assessments

• Prepare technical drawings, plans and specifications using relevant engineering software

• Monitor project progress and maintain accurate records of construction activities and timelines

• Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution

• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and implementing engineering solutions on-site

• Support the preparation of project reports and documentation

• Participate in site meetings and communicate findings to the project team

What we're looking for

• Higher Diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance

• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
