Cleaner / Homestay Operations Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

• Clean and prepare homestay units before guest check-in.
• Perform housekeeping tasks including changing bedsheets, towels, and replenishing toiletries.
• Check the unit after cleaning and ensure everything is in good condition.
• Handle laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
• Report damaged, missing, or faulty items in the unit.
• Assist in arranging maintenance or contacting technicians when repairs are needed.
• Follow up with contractors/technicians and coordinate repair schedules.
• Standby and assist with guest requests when required.
• Assist guests with simple issues related to the unit when necessary.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks related to homestay operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment.

Requirements:

• Responsible, reliable, and hardworking.
• Able to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
• Willing to handle different types of ad-hoc tasks.
• Good communication skills.
• Previous housekeeping/cleaning experience is an advantage but not required.
• Must be willing to travel between homestay units when required.
• Able to handle guest requests professionally.

Working nature:
This role is not limited to cleaning. The person will also assist with laundry, minor operational tasks, maintenance coordination, technician arrangements, and guest requests depending on the daily situation.

Pay: RM1,453.33 - RM1,700.00 per month
