The Manager, Risk & Compliance, will lead the organisation's risk management and compliance functions by identifying and mitigating risks, strengthening internal controls, and advising management on governance and compliance matters to safeguard business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Review and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies and governance documents.
- Perform compliance reviews to ensure adherence to approved policies, procedures and internal controls.
- Identify control gaps and recommend process improvements to strengthen operational effectiveness.
- Maintain and administer ISO certifications for Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) and Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS), including policy reviews, risk assessments, training and awareness programs.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, and coordinate the implementation and follow-up of audit findings.
- Manage and coordinate projects relating to governance, Enterprise Risk Management, regulatory compliance and business process improvement.
- Support adhoc assignments and projects as directed by Management.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Accountancy, Finance, Risk Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in risk management, internal controls, compliance or internal audit.
- Experience in developing SOPs, reviewing business processes and strengthening internal controls.
- Good understanding of corporate governance and compliance frameworks.
- Experience in managing or supporting the Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) and Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) is preferred.
- Strong communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated, meticulous and able to work independently.
- Proficient in excel and data analytics
