Role Purpose：

• The Financial Controller is responsible for building and maintaining a strong financial control environment. This role oversees accounting accuracy, financial reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, audit readiness, and compliance while supporting management with timely financial insights for strategic decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage full-set accounts, general ledger integrity, reconciliations, and monthly financial closing.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis.
• Develop and strengthen internal controls, approval workflows, and finance policies.
• Coordinate statutory reporting, tax submissions, audits, and external advisor relationships.
• Monitor working capital, payable and receivable aging, and overall financial discipline.
• Partner with commercial and operations teams to review margins, pricing, commissions, and business performance.
• Support management reporting, board materials, and investor-related finance requests.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities within finance operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent is preferred.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, audit, or controllership functions.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and tax compliance.
• Good command of Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
• Experience in a startup or fast-growing environment is an advantage.
• Candidates should be adaptable, hands-on, and able to work in a lean, fast-paced team.
• The role requires strong ownership, accountability, and the ability to operate with minimal supervision.
