- Prepare quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BQ) for Mechanical & Electrical works.
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparison reports.
- Manage subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and payment certifications.
- Prepare progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs and ensure expenditure remains within the approved budget.
- Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams on commercial matters.
- Assist in cost control, project forecasting, and commercial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company procedures.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Quantity Surveying for M&E works.
- Experience in commercial, industrial, or data centre projects is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of M&E systems, construction methods, and contract administration.
- Familiar with measurement standards, BQ preparation, VO, claims, and final accounts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD, CostX, Glodon, or similar QS software is an advantage.
- Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Data Centre or Mission Critical Facility projects.
- Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills.
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
