Job Description

• Handle shipments of complete machine, spare parts by sea and air freight
• Update and track freight cost every fortnight
• Provide for quotation of freight costs with designated period
• Ensure timely delivery in compliance to documentations and/or customer's requests
• Identify special requirements/restrictions for various countries - Form E, Form M, SGS,etc
• Monitor any delays in shipments and update sales personnel with supporting information
• Work closely with internal departments to coordinate shipment and to liaise with shipping lines / forwarders.
• Update reports into public server
• Ensure timely receipt of BL and transmission to customer
• Monitoring cost and delivery lead time to achieve the most economical logistics solution for local (Singapore) transportation between port, yard, customer site, workshops

Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree preferably in Logistics/Supply Chain
• Preferably with 1-2 years relevant experience
• Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong Interpersonal Skills
• Pleasant Personality
• Highly driven with a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin (in order to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking suppliers)
• Understanding of International Trade, Incoterms and Letters of Credit is necessary
