Job Summary
You will develop firmware for electronic products throughout the full product lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors to research, design, and deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and debug firmware for both legacy and new electronic products to ensure reliable performance
- Research, design, and integrate algorithms, graphical user interfaces (GUI), and libraries into existing and new products to enhance functionality
- Analyze test results to perform statistical analysis and fine-tune firmware for optimal performance
- Maintain and improve existing firmware to increase efficiency and reliability
- Assist hardware teams by troubleshooting and supporting hardware debugging activities to resolve technical issues
- Develop test equipment, maintenance processes, and testing procedures to validate electronic components and products
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to support product development and production cycles
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support business goals and innovation
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in electronics, mechatronics/robotics, embedded systems, software, or related fields
- No experience needed
- Ability to code in C programming language to develop and maintain embedded firmware
- Interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications for embedded systems to contribute to innovative product features
- Knowledge of electronics and schematic diagrams to support hardware integration and troubleshooting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical challenges
- Availability to start work on short notice is advantageous
