Role Description This contract, remote Sales Engineer role is responsible for supporting the full sales cycle for technical solutions offered by TRANSWATER API. Day-to-day tasks include engaging with prospective and existing customers to understand project requirements, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and demonstrating how products and systems meet customer needs in control, safety, efficiency, and reliability. The Sales Engineer will collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure solution feasibility, accurate specifications, and timely delivery. The role also involves providing pre- and post-sales technical support, responding to inquiries, conducting product presentations or virtual demos, and maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and opportunities. The Sales Engineer is expected to build strong, trust-based relationships with customers and contribute to long-term account development.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills, including experience translating complex technical requirements into practical solutions.
• Candidates should possess solid Sales and Customer Service skills, with a track record of managing customer relationships and supporting the sales process.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to present technical information to diverse stakeholders.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field) are beneficial.
• Experience in industrial automation, control systems, or related technology-driven environments is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and use CRM and collaboration tools efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new technologies and product offerings.
