Role Description The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based at Le Méridien Petaling Jaya in WP. Kuala Lumpur. This role is responsible for performing routine and corrective maintenance on hotel equipment, facilities, and guest rooms to ensure a safe, comfortable, and high-quality environment. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting and servicing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; diagnosing and troubleshooting issues; completing repairs in a timely manner; and conducting preventive maintenance according to established schedules. The Maintenance Technician also coordinates with other departments to minimize guest disruption, maintains accurate maintenance records, adheres to safety and compliance standards, and supports emergency response for facility-related incidents.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for hotel facilities and systems.
• Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Industrial Maintenance to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance to plan and execute regular inspection and servicing schedules.
• Technical or vocational certification in building services, mechanical, electrical, or related fields is beneficial.
• Previous experience in hospitality, facilities maintenance, or a similar environment is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and maintenance documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks safely, including lifting, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by hotel operations.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
