JOB PURPOSE:
- To support the execution of Strategic Relations initiatives across MISC Group by coordinating stakeholder engagements, consolidating inputs from Business Units and Support Units, and ensuring alignment with Group priorities, governance requirements and messaging consistency.
- Develop, plan and execute effective and efficient stakeholder strategy at enterprise level to ensure:
i) Prioritized efforts and investments
ii) Unified Messaging: Consistent and aligned messaging across all stakeholder groups
iii) Streamlined Processes: Standardize processes and protocols, ensure a coordinated
approach for stakeholder engagements
iv) Strategic Focus: Align stakeholder management efforts with the organization’s broader
strategic objectives, ensuring that engagement initiatives are directly tied to achieving
business goals
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Stakeholder Management
- Development of a Stakeholder Management Plan through identifying key business agenda and objectives, conduct research on current trends and issues, consolidate and develop stakeholders profiling, mapping, prioritize key stakeholders and consolidate stakeholder insights.
- Ensure stakeholder management activities are in line with business objectives at respective MISC Group level towards gaining trust, and recognition of stakeholders.
- Support Manager by preparing reports, briefs, and communication content.
- Support the development and maintenance of the Group Enterprise Stakeholder Map, including profiling and prioritization of stakeholder tiers.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagements across BU/SU to ensure alignment, avoid duplication and support Group-level visibility.
Guidelines and Procedures
- Establish effective governance structures for meaningful, compliant, and ethical stakeholder interactions.
- Design and develop Standard Operating Procedures through identifying key business areas, benchmarking of best practices.
Stakeholder Performance and Monitoring
- Develop stakeholder management performance reporting for timely issue resolution and continuous improvement.
Insights and Resolution via Line of Sight
- Provide actionable insights and resolve concerns to maintain trust and alignment of strategic relationships via robust governance framework.
Engagement Planning & Execution
- Assist in the planning and execution of strategic engagements
- Ensure operational readiness including logistics, protocol alignment and stakeholder experience.
Governance & Reporting
- Maintain and update the Stakeholder Management System, capturing engagement plans, outcomes, risks and escalation triggers.
- Support consolidation of periodic reports and insights for management and leadership updates.
Strategic Communications Support
- Prepare briefing materials, talking points, presentations and correspondence for senior leadership engagements.
- Ensure messaging alignment with Enterprise and internal stakeholders.
Platform & Event Support
- Support delivery of key strategic platforms
- Assist in identifying opportunities to enhance MISC’s positioning and stakeholder outreach.
Leadership
- Provide specific guidance and motivation to drive the capability, competency and leadership skills of the working team to ensure that they reach their potential and able to diversify their roles and achieve greater heights.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 5 – 8 years of relevant working experience with minimum 5 years of specific experience in stakeholder management/business development/corporate communications/planning and strategy.
- Has good understanding of the MISC Group businesses and the operating landscape.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in supporting strategic engagement efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, e.g. Business Admin, Public Relations, Communications.
