Job Description
Our client, a global technology company, is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain its advanced network infrastructure. This role ensures the network's reliability, security, and performance while contributing to long-term technical strategy. Responsibilities may evolve as departmental needs change.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure network infrastructure is highly available, secure, and optimized for performance
• Design, configure, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless networks
• Work with ISPs, AWS, and other vendors to resolve network problems
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation (diagrams, standards, guidelines, policies)
• Propose and implement enhancements to improve network performance, reliability, and scalability
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions
• Continuously monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues proactively
• Oversee and assess information security across multiple network security technologies; enforce policies via Network Access Control devices
• Administer global network infrastructure spanning multiple offices and AWS environments
• Serve as the primary point of contact for networking-related issues
• Provide hands-on support for global network issues through to resolution

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security concepts
• Strong understanding of network architecture, optimization, and security best practices
• Experienced with Cisco, Fortinet, and Meraki product offerings, configuration, and related security services
• Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), switch configurations, and firewalls in a global enterprise environment
• Strong experience with AWS cloud networking
• Basic familiarity with PowerShell, Python, BASH, or other scripting languages
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT, or a related STEM field with at least 5 years of relevant experience (or an Associate's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience)
• Experience with IT Service Management tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) and practices (Request/Incident Management)
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and provide occasional after-hours support
• Malaysian Citizens only

Pay: Up to RM13,000.00 per month
