Client

Malaysian company specializing in architectural aluminium and façade solutions, delivering products and services for construction projects. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced HR Manager to establish and lead the HR function. Office located in Puchong.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the company's HR function.
• Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, employee handbook, and HR governance.
• Lead end-to-end talent acquisition for both office and site-based positions.
• Review and enhance compensation, benefits, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Oversee payroll, leave administration, attendance, and HR operations, working closely with internal stakeholders or external service providers.
• Ensure compliance with the Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, and other relevant labour regulations.
• Advise management on employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievance handling, and performance improvement.
• Drive HR digitalization, reporting, and HR metrics to support business decisions.
• Partner with department heads to strengthen organizational capability and workforce planning.
• Foster a positive, performance-driven, and collaborative workplace culture.

Requirements

1. Degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
2. Hands-on experience across the full spectrum of HR, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, and HR operations.
3. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
4. Experience within construction, manufacturing, engineering, building materials, or project-based industries is an added advantage.
5. Self-driven, hands-on, and comfortable working in a growing organization where processes are still being developed.
