The Executive, Operations will drive day-to-day operations and maintenance (O&M) for Gentari Green Mobility Sdn Bhd assets, ensuring maximum reliability, uptime, and compliance. This role emphasizes hands-on execution, proactive monitoring, and operational excellence across the network, with continuous improvement and vendor performance oversight.




Responsibilities



Operational Execution & Governance


  • Execute daily EV charger operational activities to ensure high asset uptime, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction;
  • Implement O&M processes, SOPs, and performance standards across sites to support consistent service delivery;
  • Drive operational improvement initiatives focused on reducing downtime, improving response time, and achieving SLA targets.


Contract & Vendor Management

  • Support contract execution, renewals, and performance reviews for O&M vendors, OEMs, and service partners;
  • Monitor vendor performance, conduct quality checks, and recommend corrective actions to ensure cost efficiency and service quality;
  • Coordinate work orders, site access, and task closure in alignment with operational needs and SLAs.


Maintenance Planning & Delivery

  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans to maintain high charger reliability and uptime;
  • Coordinate power supply monitoring, grid interaction issues, and manage scheduled downtime with minimal customer impact;
  • Ensure charging stations remain in optimal condition, including hardware, software, and site infrastructure.


Customer Support Interface

  • Provide Level 2–3 operational support for escalated customer issues, ensuring timely and accurate resolution;
  • Work closely with customer care, NOC teams, and technical partners to diagnose issues and implement solutions;
  • Deliver actionable insights to reduce future downtime and improve the overall customer charging experience.


Compliance & Reporting

  • Track, analyse, and report charger performance metrics (uptime, downtime, reliability, SLA adherence);
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory standards, safety requirements, and internal O&M policies;
  • Maintain accurate documentation on all maintenance activities, incident reports, and insurance requirements.


Asset Lifecycle Oversight

  • Support asset lifecycle management including commissioning, refresh, decommissioning, and replacement;
  • Assist in inventory control, spare parts management, and asset condition tracking;
  • Execute disposal and reinvestment actions in line with corporate asset policies.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with engineering, product, fleet, commercial, and site acquisition teams to support rollout and operational readiness of new charging sites;
  • Provide operational insights during design, installation, and testing phases to ensure smooth commissioning;
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven recommendations.



Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline;
  • 1–3 years of experience in operations, maintenance, or asset management; exposure to mobility or energy sectors is an advantage;
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and equipment troubleshooting (advantage but not mandatory);
  • Strong analytical, coordination, and vendor management skills;
  • Ability to work on-site when required, including responding to urgent operational matters;
  • Proficiency with digital tools (CMMS, ticketing systems, reporting dashboards);
  • Comfortable making decisions in dynamic environments with limited information;
  • Strong skills in team coordination and cross-functional collaboration;
  • Highly results-oriented, with a focus on process efficiency and continuous improvement.
