We are currently looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist on behalf of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process end-to-end payroll for employees across Malaysia and other assigned countries (e.g., Singapore and potentially other SEA/foreign jurisdictions).
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, company policies, and audit requirements for each payroll jurisdiction.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external payroll vendors to ensure accurate and timely payroll execution.
• Handle payroll reconciliation, reporting, and statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, etc.).
• Manage expatriate payroll where required, including handling of foreign currency components and cross-border payroll issues.
• Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions and confidentiality of employee data.
• Support annual audit processes and provide relevant payroll documentation as needed.
• Assist in reviewing and implementing payroll system/process improvements.

Key requirements:

• At least 8 years of experience in payroll operations, ideally within multinational companies (MNCs) or regional shared service centers.
• Preferably has experience in handling either the US, UK or AU regions.
• Experience handling payroll in different currencies and familiarity with regional regulatory frameworks.
• High attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll software.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-border teams
