We are seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining production machinery and facility equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The role also involves supporting equipment commissioning, troubleshooting, and automation projects to ensure a smooth and timely production ramp-up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functioning of equipment and facilities.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other departments to prioritize maintenance needs and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Obtain specialist components, fixtures, or fittings as required for equipment repairs.
• Maintain accurate preventive maintenance records and update maintenance schedules as needed.
• Propose and create maintenance procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance operations.
• Manage stocks of supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate inventory levels are maintained.
• Oversee the installation of required utilities such as power, compressed air, and water for equipment setup.
• Assist in machine calibration, validation, and performance testing during project phase
• Work with engineers and vendors on machine integration, including mechanical, electrical and control system.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers during installation and commissioning activities
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
• Any other assignments as directed by the immediate supervisor or their designee.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience in maintenance, engineering, or technical support. Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge may be considered for junior roles.
• Language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia.
