Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Building Technician to join our Property Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the efficient operation of all building systems, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and civil works. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, respond to service requests, and assist in supervising contractors to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance & Operations

• Perform preventive, routine, and corrective maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, firefighting, and mechanical systems.
• Conduct minor civil works such as patching, painting, and tile repair.

2. Troubleshooting & Emergency Response

• Respond promptly to breakdowns and complaints.
• Identify root causes and carry out necessary repairs to minimize downtime.

3. Monitoring & Reporting

• Monitor water and electricity usage, report abnormalities, and maintain maintenance records and logs.
• Notify the Building Manager of faulty systems and propose corrective actions.

4. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and environmental regulations.
• Support fire drills, Bomba inspections, and enforce PPE use on site.

5. Contractor Coordination & Support

• Supervise service contractors to ensure quality and timely completion.
• Assist in building events, renovation works, and move-in/out operations.

Job Requirements:

• Qualification: Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, or related technical field.
• Experience: 1–2 years in property, facility, or building maintenance. Fresh graduates may apply for Junior Technician roles.
• Skills: Strong technical knowledge in M&E systems, troubleshooting, and basic computer literacy (Excel/Word).
• Attributes: Reliable, safety-conscious, team player, able to work independently and on rotating shifts (including weekends/on-call).

Commencement Date: IMMEDIATELY

Location: Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, Kuala Lumpur.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
