Okay so here's the deal !
Ever been the friend who does the math before booking a group trip so nobody gets scammed on the split? That's basically what a Quote Analyst does — except now it's insurance, pricing, or finance numbers instead of Airbnb splits, and yep, you get paid for it.
Your job? Make sure the numbers behind every quote actually make sense — not too high (nobody buys), not too low (company cries). You're the person standing between "guesswork pricing" and "wait, this actually adds up."
If you love digging into numbers, spotting patterns, and going "hold up, something's off here" before anyone else notices — you're exactly who we need.
What you’ll be doing
- Reviewing and analyzing quotes to make sure pricing is accurate, fair, and not just vibes-based.
- Digging into data to spot trends, risks, or "wait why is this quote so different from the last one".
- Working with sales, underwriting, or finance teams to double-check numbers before they go out the door.
- Flagging inconsistencies or errors before they become a "why did we lose money on this" problem.
- Helping tweak pricing models based on real data, not just gut feeling.
- Putting together reports that explain the numbers in plain English, not spreadsheet gibberish.
What we’re looking for
- Diploma and Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Math, Statistics — any of this help, but we care way more about how sharp your eye for detail is.
- Comfortable in Excel/Google Sheets? Huge plus. Bonus points if you've touched SQL or any data tools.
- Certs like a CPCU, ANFI, or working toward something finance-y are nice, but zero pressure if you're just starting out.
- You can talk to five different teams without things getting lost in translation.
- Numbers actually make sense to you (or at least don't scare you).
- You can explain a confusing number to someone who hates math, without making them feel dumb.
- Fresh grad or still studying? Perfect. We're not out here demanding years of experience for an entry-level gig.
