Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to support daily accounting and administrative functions. You will handle accounts payable and receivable, prepare invoices and payment documents, perform reconciliations, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with month-end closing activities.

Responsibilities

• Enter data accurately for accounts payable and accounts receivable to maintain up-to-date financial records
• Prepare and issue invoices, delivery orders, and payment vouchers to ensure timely billing and payments
• Perform bank reconciliations and verify cash transaction accuracy to maintain financial integrity
• Organize and maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records for easy retrieval and audit readiness
• Support month-end closing activities by assisting in report generation and account reconciliations
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to resolve payment or billing issues
• Assist in stock and inventory reconciliation to support accurate financial reporting
• Provide general administrative and accounting support to ensure smooth daily operations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
• 1–2 years of basic accounting experience preferred; fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are welcome
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or SQL
