  • Installation and Maintenance: Technicians install, maintain, and repair equipment and systems, ensuring they function efficiently. This includes hardware and software installations in IT, HVAC systems, and manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshooting: They diagnose issues with equipment and systems, running tests and interpreting results to identify problems and recommend solutions.
  • Documentation: Technicians are responsible for writing reports, safety regulations, and preventative maintenance plans. They may also need to source replacement parts and negotiate with suppliers.
  • Collaboration: They often work alongside other skilled professionals, requiring effective communication and teamwork skills.
