Role Description This full-time hybrid role, based in Singapore River with some flexibility for work from home, focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. The Software Engineer / Software Developer / Application Developer will write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, implement back-end services and APIs, and integrate applications with databases and external systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, performing code reviews, and optimizing performance, security, and scalability. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, and participate in testing and deployment activities. The candidate will be expected to stay current with industry best practices and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming using modern languages and frameworks.
• Experience with Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs and database integration.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to write maintainable, testable code and work with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a hybrid work environment.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, or microservices architecture is an advantage.
