The Body & Paint Controller is responsible for planning , coordinating, monitoring, and controlling all repair activities to ensure vehicles are repair according to quality standards, within targeted turnaround time and within the approved repair costs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily workshop workload and repair queue.
- Allocate jobs to panel beater & spray painter.
- Conduct daily work in progress review.
- Update repair status.
- Perform pre-repair, in-process, and final inspections.
- Ensure all labor, paint, materials, and parts are captures accurately.
- Provide repair status updates and delivery commitments.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/ NITEC/ Higher NITEC in Automotive Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years experiences in claims repair environment preferred.
- Strong Body & Paint process knowledge.
- Leadership & teamwork skills.
