Job Title: Senior Java Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with7+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintainingenterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.The ideal candidate should possess strong backend development expertise, cloudexposure, and experience working in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance Java applications.
• Build RESTful APIs and Microservices using Spring Boot.
• Develop secure, reusable, and maintainable backend components.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA engineers, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint ceremonies.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Java application development.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience in Microservices.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and web services.
• Experience with Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Good understanding of multithreading, collections, and JVM concepts.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Familiarity with Maven or Gradle.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Redis, Elasticsearch, or NoSQL databases (MongoDB/Cassandra).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and API security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid and multicultural environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), FinTech, or Payments.
