Strategic Roles
- Define supplier strategies, manage supplier and negotiate credit terms
- Conduct sourcing and evaluation of new products local and overseas
- Introduce performance improvement measures for suppliers and vendors
- Develop and manage purchasing variances to meet profit objectives
- Monitor and reduce purchase variances
- Direct continuous improvement of purchasing processes
- Establish and implement purchasing policies, procedures and best practices
- Maintain ongoing compliance with purchasing policies and procedures
- Oversee operations and daily activities of purchasing department
- Manage performance, develop and motivate purchasing staff
- Manage reporting of purchasing data, analysis and related projections
- Identify and source new suppliers
- Manage supplier selection process
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers
- Establish and update an approved supplier database
- Measure and manage the supplier cost, quality and delivery performance
- Oversee supplier compliance
- Troubleshoot cost, quality and delivery concerns
- Facilitate timely placement of purchase orders
- Work with relevant departments to manage inventory requirements
- Review purchase orders for proper authorization and compliance
What we need from you:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in business, procurement, supply chain, logistics, or any related field
- At least 1 year purchasing experience in F&B industry
- Working experience of relevant software
