We are partnering with a leading manufacturer specializing in precast concrete and building solutions, supporting large-scale residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a QC Engineer to oversee quality control activities, ensure compliance with project specifications, and drive continuous quality improvement across manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control plans to ensure products meet project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
- Oversee inspection activities throughout the production process and verify that non-conforming products are properly rectified before release.
- Coordinate with production teams, subcontractors, customers, and consultants to resolve quality issues and drive corrective actions.
- Lead and supervise QC inspectors, including work allocation, training, and performance monitoring.
- Conduct quality inspections and process audits to ensure compliance with established procedures and production standards.
- Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
- Monitor the availability of materials and consumables required for inspection activities, while ensuring proper documentation and inventory records are maintained.
- Attend project and site coordination meetings to address quality-related matters and provide technical support.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, housekeeping requirements, and company quality management procedures.
- Prepare quality reports, inspection records, NCR documentation, and maintain accurate records in accordance with ISO requirements.
- Support the development and training of QC personnel to strengthen technical competency and quality awareness.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment, preferably involving precast concrete or construction materials.
- Good understanding of quality inspection, root cause analysis, and quality management systems.
- Experience working with production teams, customers, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and quality documentation processes.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
