Job Summary
We are seeking a fresh graduate / entry-level engineer to join our System Integration team in a semiconductor foundry fab. This role sits between end users (manufacturing/engineering teams) and IT, helping translate operational needs into usable applications, workflows, and data-driven improvements. You will design user interfaces, build/maintain workflow integrations across multiple systems, and promote adoption of AI technologies to explore new opportunities for fab efficiency and decision support.
Responsibilities
UI / Application Development
- Design and implement user-friendly UI using C# (.NET) and web technologies (HTML, JavaScript).
- Maintain and enhance internal tools for fab engineers/operators.
Workflow & System Integration
- Design and implement workflow processes to integrate multiple systems and coordinate different user parties.
- Gather requirements from end users, align with IT/system constraints, and ensure smooth cross-system execution.
Data Collection, Collation & Analysis
- Collect and consolidate data from multiple fab systems.
- Perform analysis to identify improvement opportunities in productivity, yield, cost, and operational efficiency using Python.
Data Processing, Visualization & Control
- Apply data algorithms/tools to process large datasets.
- Develop visualizations/dashboards and implement data monitoring/control to support operational decisions.
AI Technology Promotion & Opportunity Exploration
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to apply AI/ML (e.g., anomaly detection, predictive alerts, pattern discovery, intelligent routing/automation, knowledge search) to fab operations and system integration.
- Build proof-of-concepts (PoC) with stakeholders, validate value/feasibility, and help drive adoption into production workflows.
- Promote AI best practices (data quality, model monitoring, privacy/security alignment) in collaboration with users and IT.
Requirements (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science or related field
- Programming fundamentals in:
- C# (or strong OOP foundation with willingness to learn C# quickly)
- Python for data analysis/automation
- HTML + JavaScript fundamentals
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with both end users and IT teams (requirements, testing, rollout).
- Interest in applying AI/ML to real manufacturing problems and willingness to learn fast.
