Role Description The Electrical Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. This role is responsible for designing and reviewing electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects, including power distribution, load management, and integration of automation and smart building solutions. The Electrical Project Engineer will prepare technical drawings and specifications, perform calculations and system sizing, and collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure compliance with safety standards, local codes, and project requirements. Daily tasks include coordinating site activities, overseeing installation and testing, troubleshooting electrical issues, and supporting commissioning and handover documentation. The role also involves participating in project planning, cost estimation, and continuous improvement of engineering practices and standards.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, Electricity, and Power Systems, with the ability to apply these principles to commercial and industrial projects.
• Proficiency in Electrical Design and Power Distribution, including system layout, load calculations, and protection coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline; professional registration or relevant certifications are an advantage.
• Experience with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards in Singapore.
• Familiarity with CAD and electrical design software; knowledge of PLCs, automation, or smart building systems is beneficial.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work on-site, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage timelines in a fast-paced project environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
