The Security Operations Center (SOC) Modernization Architect focuses on transforming legacy, manual security setups into automated, cloud-integrated, and AI-driven operating models. They redesign detection pipelines, consolidate SIEM/SOAR tools, and align security operations with business risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Strategy: Redesign and consolidate legacy SIEM, XDR, and SOAR infrastructure into unified security data platforms.
• Automation & AI Integration: Implement automated playbooks and AI/ML-driven threat detection workflows to reduce manual alert triage.
• Operating Model Design: Define new governance models, team workflows, escalation paths, and metric frameworks.
• Technical Authority: Lead client or internal stakeholder workshops, design implementation roadmaps, and bridge the gap between sales/strategy and hands-on delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 8+ years in cybersecurity, security architecture, or threat operations.
• Platform Knowledge: Hands-on proficiency with modern platforms like Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, Splunk, or similar cloud-native security ecosystems.
• Core Competencies: Deep knowledge of detection engineering, threat hunting frameworks, and pipeline optimization.

Communication: Ability to translate technical risk metrics into executive-level business narratives

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
