Our client is looking for a highly motivated Fresh Graduate Engineer to join their SoC Front-End Design team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of next-generation integrated circuits (ICs) and intellectual property (IP) for wireless connectivity, networking, and embedded applications. You will work closely with experienced engineers throughout the chip development lifecycle, from RTL design and verification to silicon validation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement digital logic using hardware description languages such as Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL based on functional specifications.
- Develop high-quality RTL that meets performance, power, area, and functional requirements.
- Participate in the design and integration of SoC and IP components.
- Support low-power design implementation and understand power intent methodologies such as UPF/CPF.
- Develop and execute testbenches for RTL verification and debugging.
- Assist with FPGA prototyping and hardware validation activities.
- Collaborate with verification, DFT, synthesis, and physical design teams to ensure successful SoC integration.
- Contribute to technical documentation, design reviews, and problem-solving activities throughout the development process.
- Support silicon bring-up, debugging, and validation efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of digital logic design, computer architecture, and digital integrated circuit fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL gained through coursework, academic projects, research, or internships.
- Basic knowledge of RTL design, simulation, and debugging techniques.
- Understanding of clocking, reset architectures, finite state machines (FSMs), and synchronous digital design principles.
- Exposure to FPGA development, digital verification, or EDA tools is advantageous.
- Knowledge of low-power design concepts, DFT, synthesis, or SoC architectures is a plus.
- Experience through academic projects or internships involving communication protocols such as Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, ARM, AHB, APB, or other embedded systems technologies is an advantage.
