Job Summary

The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for supervising electrical installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting works for commercial, industrial, or construction projects in Singapore. The role ensures compliance with EMA regulations, Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements, and project specifications.

JD:

1.Project & Site Supervision
• Supervise electrical installation works at project sites
• Coordinate subcontractors, electricians, and technicians
• Monitor work progress according to schedule and quality standards
• Ensure proper cable routing, DB installation, containment, and termination works
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with consultants, clients, and authorities

2. Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance
• Diagnose electrical faults and power failures
• Supervise testing and commissioning activities
• Ensure all systems operate safely and efficiently

3. Safety & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with:
• EMA regulations
• Singapore Standard SS638
• Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations
• Conduct toolbox meetings and risk assessments
• Ensure proper permit-to-work procedures
• Maintain site safety documentation

4.Documentation & Reporting
• Prepare method statements, inspection reports, and work permits
• Update single-line diagrams and as-built drawings
• Maintain maintenance records and testing reports
• Submit reports to management and relevant authorities when required

Requirements:

1.Education
• Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma/ Degree in Electrical Engineering

2. Experience
    5-10 years relevant experience in:
•  Construction
• Building services
• Industrial plants
• Facilities maintenance
• M&E projects

3.Certifications
Preferred certifications:
• EMA Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW)
• Workplace Safety Supervisor (WSS)
• BCSS / CSOC
• SCDF Fire Safety Manager (advantage)
• High Voltage Switching certification (if applicable)

4. Technical Skills
• Electrical troubleshooting
• Reading electrical drawings and SLDs
• Testing & commissioning
• AutoCAD knowledge
• Knowledge of LV/HV systems
• Familiar with Singapore electrical codes and standards

Location: Jurong

Salary: $6,500/ month

Working hours: Monday- Saturday (8.30am- 5.30pm)
