We are seeking a motivated IT Operations Engineer to support and maintain enterprise SD-WAN and wireless network environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for network monitoring, incident management, operational change implementation, and troubleshooting activities to ensure high service availability for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and support network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, and wireless solutions.
- Perform incident response, troubleshooting, escalation, and resolution within SLA timelines.
- Execute standard service requests and change implementations across SD-WAN platforms such as Cisco Viptela, VMware VeloCloud, RansNet, Silver Peak, and Fortinet.
- Conduct daily health checks, log reviews, and system performance monitoring.
- Support enterprise wireless environments, including access points, wireless controllers, and cloud-managed WLAN solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve infrastructure issues.
- Ensure compliance with operational, security, and governance standards.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations, network support, or NOC environments.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, wireless networking, and network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Cisco, Aruba, Meraki, Ruckus, Fortinet, or similar technologies is advantageous.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, VMware, or SD-WAN certifications are preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Work Schedule
- 24x7 rotational shift environment.
- 12-hour shifts (8:30 AM to 8:30 PM / 8:30 PM to 8:30 AM).
- 2-days-on, 2-days-off roster, including weekends and public holidays.
