Ascendion, an AI-first global consulting firm, is looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer (PHP & React) to join one of our clients in Malaysia.

• AWS
• Linux & Nginx
• Selenium / Playwright / Puppeteer
• Python (Good to Have)

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-scale web applications.
• Build scalable APIs and customer-facing platforms using PHP and React.js.
• Work within AWS cloud environments.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, Cloud, Platform, and Security teams.
• Drive code quality through automated testing and secure coding practices.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
• Contribute to AI-powered engineering initiatives, including RAG and Generative AI solutions.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of commercial PHP development experience.

3+ years of React.js development experience.

Strong knowledge of OOAD, software engineering best practices, and Agile methodologies.

Experience with relational databases and cloud technologies (AWS).

Strong understanding of Linux, Nginx, and automated testing frameworks.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
