Nutanix Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking aNutanix Infrastructure Engineerwith 1–3 years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure in an operations or managed services environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience administering Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI), troubleshooting virtualization and infrastructure issues, and delivering high-quality operational support while meeting service level agreements (SLAs).

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting Nutanix environments, resolving incidents, fulfilling service requests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of customer infrastructure.

• Provide operational support for Nutanix infrastructure, including cluster administration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Manage and support Nutanix components such asPrism Central,Prism Element,AHV/ESXi,Controller VM (CVM), storage, and replication.
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure incidents and service requests while adhering to established SLAs.
• Perform system health checks, issue analysis, root cause identification, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support Linux and Windows operating systems related to infrastructure operations.
• Troubleshoot basic networking issues involving TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and connectivity.
• Handle incident, change, and service request management using platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ITSM tools.
• Provide timely status updates, communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, virtualization, storage, and networking teams to ensure reliable service delivery.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles.
  
  

• 1–3 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations, systems administration, or technical support.
• Hands-on experience with Nutanix technologies, including:
  • Prism Central
  • Prism Element
  • AHV and/or VMware ESXi
  • Controller VM (CVM)
  • Storage management
  • Replication
    
    
• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies and hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI).
• Experience supporting Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience using IT service management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve infrastructure issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, particularly in status reporting, stakeholder communication, and escalation management.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and consistently meet SLA commitments.
  
  

• Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP – Core Infrastructure) or higher certification.
• Experience with scripting or automation using PowerShell, Bash, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions integrated with Nutanix, such as Veeam or HYCU.
• Exposure to Nutanix cloud technologies, including Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) and Nutanix Calm.
• Previous experience working in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or customer-facing technical support environment.
