About Us

Singapura Hawker Club is a modern halal food destination bringing together a variety of local and international food concepts under one roof. We are looking for an experienced Seafood Cook / Kitchen Assistant to join our team and prepare fresh seafood and BBQ seafood dishes with consistency and care.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of seafood dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
• Operate BBQ grills and prepare grilled seafood items.
• Clean, portion and prepare seafood ingredients.
• Ensure food is cooked to order while maintaining consistency and presentation.
• Monitor food quality and freshness.
• Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen at all times.
• Assist with stock rotation, inventory checks and ingredient preparation.
• Support opening and closing kitchen duties.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.

Requirements

• Experience cooking seafood in a restaurant, zi char, seafood restaurant, hawker stall or similar food establishment.
• Experience preparing BBQ seafood is highly preferred.
• Able to handle seafood preparation, including cleaning and portioning.
• Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, hardworking and a good team player.
• Willing to work weekends, evenings and public holidays when scheduled.
• Food Hygiene Certificate is an advantage (training can be arranged if required).
