Airport Authority Hong Kong Hiring! Full Time Assistant Manager, IT in Islands District, Hong Kong - Ricebowl

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Manager to perform requirements assessment, solution design, development, implementation, quality assurance and production commissioning.
• Act as the Project Manager of Airport Services - Flight Services team to ensure implementation of Check-In systems, Flight Token, and other related services systems in T1 / T2 are timely, quality and within budget.
• Act as the technical support lead for day-to-day support and maintenance, and deployment of designated systems.
• Liaise and coordinate with a diverse range of internal/external stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers in relation to planning, project management and support functions.
• Provide technical collaboration and consultation for AA internal users related to flight services and airport services systems.
• Develop user requirement specifications, functional design and specifications for contractors based on business requirement.
• Develop project implementation plans and work breakdown structure and manage data, reports and related information to facilitate project administration and contract compliance.
• Perform project support/administration to assist in meeting agreed project objectives, service delivery standards and timelines, stakeholder expectations and user requirements.
• Supervise different contractors on performing FAT, SAT and UAT.
• Monitor the performance of the responsible application systems to identify areas of possible enhancement; and close out outstanding system issues by implementing fixes or upgrades.
• Ensure smooth transition of system operations by providing instructions and expert advice to first level support staff

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines with at least 6 years of relevant experience, of which at least 4 years in Project Management and Stakeholders Engagement

• Holder of Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and / or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification is preferred

• Proven application development and support experience in large scale, mission critical systems

• Experience in airports and aviation industry is preferred

• Proficiency level skills in Windows, UNIX and major DBMS (such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL servers) and prior experience with using related development tools such as JavaScript and Python.

• Experience in system delivery on Web, Mobile Application and Backend solution with both of Cloud and On-Premises infrastructure

• Experience in system platform upgrade/migration is preferred.

• Experience in business analysis and solution design with system architecture, network and cybersecurity.

• Experience in the different stages of project management as well as managing vendors is preferred.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills with all levels of the organization.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
