The Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) is responsible for monitoring and enforcing workplace safety practices at project sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and HSSE standards to maintain a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations
- Conduct site inspections and identify potential hazards
- Enforce PPE compliance and safe work practices
- Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-miss cases
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly safety reports
- Ensure proper implementation of permit-to-work systems
- Liaise with management, contractors, and relevant authorities on safety matters
- Maintain safety documentation and records
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or relevant certification in Safety & Health
- Valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) certification (if required by authority)
- Minimum 2–3 years of site safety experience (construction preferred)
- Good knowledge of OSHA and local safety regulations
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to work at project sites
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
