Job Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee preventive and reactive maintenance programs to ensure reliability, availability, and optimal performance of facility assets and infrastructure.
• Operate, troubleshoot, repair, and enhance the performance of building systems, machinery, equipment, and critical infrastructure.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities performed by multi-skilled engineering teams and external service providers.
• Ensure all maintenance operations comply with statutory requirements, contractual obligations, client standards, and company policies.
• Conduct inspections of facilities, equipment, machinery, and safety systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and operational standards.
• Support budget management by providing input on operating expenditures, maintenance planning, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Participate in procurement activities related to maintenance services, equipment, and engineering requirements when required.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational procedures, maintenance practices, and service delivery processes.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Support training and development initiatives to ensure compliance, technical competency, and consistent service delivery standards.
• Promote a strong safety culture by identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational, environmental, and workplace risks.
• Respond to facility emergencies and critical incidents, ensuring appropriate internal and external resources are mobilized for effective resolution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement programs, operational reporting, and performance analysis to enhance facility reliability and efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Operational Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in engineering, facilities management, data center operations, or critical environment facilities.
• Experience operating and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems within Tier III data centers or equivalent critical facilities will be highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of building services, facility infrastructure, preventive maintenance practices, and operational procedures.
• Experience supervising vendors, contractors, and maintenance service providers in a facilities management environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, risk management principles, and compliance requirements within critical environments.
• Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives, operational reporting, and performance monitoring.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and mission-critical operational environments while maintaining high service standards.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
