Key Job Description
- Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Objective: Oversee cost estimation, financial management, and contract administration for construction projects.
- Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Contract Management; strong knowledge of building economics and contract law.
Core Duties & Responsibilities
- Cost Management
- Prepare and manage cost estimates and budgets across project lifecycle.
- Monitor expenditure and ensure costs remain within budget.
- Conduct feasibility studies for materials, labor, and time.
- Contract Administration
- Study contract documents and prepare Bills of Quantities.
- Draft tender and contract documents with architects/clients.
- Handle progress claims, variation orders, and payment certificates.
- Negotiate contracts and work schedules.
- Procurement & Tendering
- Call quotations, compare prices, and finalize tender pricing.
- Advise on procurement strategies.
- Client & Stakeholder Liaison
- Liaise with client representatives on claims and variations.
- Attend site and progress meetings.
- Keep superiors informed of contractual and site matters

Pay: $2,500.00 - $5,200.00 per month
