As an Intern, Copywriter, you will support the creation of original content for GetGo’s communication channels, with a focus on articles and eNewsletter copy, and be a part of GetGo’s highly energetic and dynamic Communications team, supporting our Copywriter with important editorial tasks. Our ideal candidate is a creative-minded writer who is passionate about the written word, meticulous, shows initiative, is self-motivated, and eager to learn and grow. 

How You Will Make An Impact 

• Design high-quality visual mock-ups for brand platforms, including editorial, marketing communications, campaigns, and other brand initiatives.
• Conceptualise ideas and execute visual directions in collaboration with designers and marketers, ensuring all outputs are on-brand and aligned with campaign objectives.
• Adapt creative assets at scale across campaigns, platforms, and brand initiatives to maintain consistency and quality.
• Assist with storyboarding for video and animation, focusing on visual storytelling that conveys the brand message and creative direction.
• Provide design support for digital interfaces and prototyping, applying best practices in responsive web design.
• Support the team in maintaining and evolving brand identity across visual design systems.
• Explore and experiment with AI creative tools for design generation, prototyping and animation.
• Contribute fresh creative perspectives during brainstorming and ideation sessions.

What Makes You A Great Fit

• Pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Mass Communications/Journalism or equivalent 
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English, with a good grasp of modern slang and expressions 
• Enjoys keeping up with current affairs/recent trends  
• Curious with a collaborative mindset and enjoys working with people
